Mr. Max Pincus

Max Pincus is an Arizona native and a 2007 graduate of Mountain Pointe High School. He earned his degree in education from Arizona State University and later obtained his master's degree from Northern Arizona University. After college, he began his 10-year teaching career in the Tempe Union High School District, teaching Social Studies at both Desert Vista and Mountain Pointe High Schools. During this time, he was honored with the Tempe Diablo Award for Teacher of the Year.

While at Mountain Pointe, Max served as a PLC Leader and Staff Development Coordinator. For the past two years, he has worked as an Instructional Coach, mentoring new teachers, developing and leading professional development sessions, and helping to create the TUHSD Pathways to Success Educator Prep Program.

Outside of the classroom, Max coached high school baseball for 18 years, including four years as the head varsity coach at Mountain Pointe. He also served as the head girls' golf coach for nine years.
